Cognistat is pleased to announce that, Dr. Ralph Kiernan, will be presenting a poster entitled “Minor Head Injury and the Rear-End Impact” at the 40th Annual International Neuropsychological Society Conference.

The International Neuropsychological Society is a multi-disciplinary non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing communication among the scientific disciplines which contribute to the understanding of brain-behavior relationships. The Society currently has more than 4500 members throughout the world. The Society holds two meetings per year. The North American meeting is held in February and the non-North American meeting is held in July.

The mission of the International Neuropsychological Society is to promote the international and interdisciplinary study of brain-behavioral relationships throughout the lifespan. The Society’s emphasis is on science, education, and the applications of scientific knowledge.

Cognitive assessment is a critical component of both brain fitness and medical management, and proper assessment tools are essential. Dr. Jonathan Mueller examines the specific need for cognitive screening , as well as five major areas of cognition. This webinar will also introduce the next generation of Cognistat – the Cognistat Assessment System (CAS). CAS is a computerized version of the original Cognistat paper and pencil test. It faithfully reproduces the Cognistat format to maintain the substantial body of literature validating the original test, but has been adapted for computer to facilitate electronic patient record keeping and the review and comparison of patient data.
